“Specialty Session” With Bob and Lisa both coming from artistic backgrounds, it is easy to see how this form of photography has become the work they feel most passionate about. They immensely enjoy working with dancers of all ages and have a talent for capturing the body’s movement during all stages of life. Fine art dance portraiture is our specialty here at Bob Stuart Photography – hence the name “Specialty Session” which concerns our individual dance portrait session. Here we use very specific lighting techniques to best capture the lines created by a moving figure. Specialty Sessions are usually for one to five subjects (individuals, siblings, friends). A session can take place at our residential studio in North Raleigh, or in conjunction with your studio’s Contract Shoot. A separate sitting fee will apply. – Dance Contract Work We have photographed numerous dance schools over the past 10 years during their recital/gala season. Due to Lisa’s extensive background in teaching dance and working with children, and Bob’s proficiency with lighting, we have Studio Contract work down to a science! Give us 2 hours to set up, 10-15 minutes per group of dancers, an hour to clean up – and we’re done. We provide full support through all steps of the process (from planning your session and creating your shoot-schedule, to helping assist with the re-ordering process after all photos have been returned to your parents) to keep your work load at a minimum. Our amazing staff helps our post-shoot procedure to run smoothly and at rapid speed so that your parents get their photographs back promptly and with little error. We also have a full money back guarantee, as well as commission for those studios which meet our minimum enrollment requirement. Other benefits include promotional posters to hang around your studio prior to your shoot date, a complimentary 5×7 of each group dance for the studio, experienced table help to assist your parents in the order-form process, and talented posing should you like assistance.
